London is the capital of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It ranks as one of the world's oldest and most historic cities. Each year, millions of tourists visit London to see such historic sights such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and the Tower of London.London is a large, lively city as well as a historic one. It is the 9th largest city in the world, with almost 7 million people. London has about a million immigrants, including many from India, Pakistan and the West Indies.These immigrants include many members of the Roman Catholic, Jewish, and Islamic faiths.

The EuroStar which is seen above is the link from England to countries in Europe such as France, Germany and Belgium. I love the speed of the train as well as the ride underwater!

I have created another page with some pictures of Croydon. Croydon is a lovely place. it is one of the boroughs of London and it was here that I lived during my stay in London. It not only housed various places of entertainment, it was a really beautiful and scenic town. I was also involved in the Croydon operatic and Dramatic Association which helped me gain alot of insight into the world of drama! I really enjoyed the crew and we all had a great time together.
